Event Terms and Conditions

By attending any event hosted by The Black Crochet Group LLC—whether in person or online—you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Photography, Video & Audio Recording

• All events may be photographed and/or recorded via video or audio.

• These recordings and photos may include images or voices of attendees.

• Recordings may be used for archival, promotional, educational, or marketing purposes by The Black Crochet Group LLC, including but not limited to:

  • Website content

  • Facebook and Instagram posts

  • Email newsletters

  • Online advertisements

  • Event recaps and future promotional materials

2. Permission & Media Release

By attending, you grant The Black Crochet Group LLC full rights to use any media (photo, video, or audio) captured during events that may include your likeness, image, voice, or comments, without payment or other consideration. This release applies in perpetuity and across all media platforms, existing now or developed in the future.

3. Privacy

We will never share your full name, personal contact information, or any sensitive data without explicit permission. Tagging on social media may occur if your profile interacts with group pages or posts.

4. Opt-Out Notice

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded:

• Please notify an event host prior to the start of the event.

• At in-person events, you may be given a special badge or wristband to identify your request.

• For online events, we recommend keeping your camera off and name anonymized if you are not comfortable appearing in recordings.

While we will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests, full exclusion from event media cannot be guaranteed in group settings.
