Group Moderator (Engagement & Support)
Responsibilities:
Monitor posts and comments for violations of group rules.
Greet new members, engage in discussion threads, and encourage participation.
Answer common questions and redirect members to resources.
Escalate issues to admins when needed.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with Facebook group tools (moderator dashboard, keyword alerts, approvals).
Strong written communication; polite and professional tone.
Ability to de-escalate conflict or enforce rules respectfully.
Experience or Portfolio Needed:
Portfolio to show crochet skills required
Previous experience moderating a group or community is preferred.
Tools & Tech:
Facebook, Google Sheets or Docs (for tracking)
Time Commitment:
6+ hours/week, split between checking in and interacting
Availability in mornings, evenings, or weekends is helpful
Reports To: Crystal (Founder) and designated Community Lead
